This is a static version of the visualization. The original used a local Elasticsearch instance (localhost:9200, index 'bigdata') to dynamically query by year. Here we use prepared location data; selecting a year shows a different slice/window of the locations so the plotted points visibly change (simulated filtering for the demo).
Links open the original static submissions. Data files are relative to each subdir; open directly from the server root for best results. The year selector above now shows different slices of the location data for demo purposes (real per-year filtering required the original ES backend).
